Minor snafu with Gracie‘s flight. She missed her connection in Los Angeles, so it looks like I’ll be driving to Sacramento to get her around midnight. Then, spend the night and drive back tomorrow. Meanwhile, I’ll be at the baggage carousel in Reno to grab her luggage if it shows up on her regular flight. It’s been a long day of traveling with this little lady. We still have a bus and we still have a bus ride to go. I do want to bring attention to something that happened on my Delta Flight 1352 because I am so upset. During my flight a flight attendant asked me to put my dog up in the upper storage compartment. I said no and she argued with me for a little bit and then said well since no one is next to you I guess it doesn’t matter that her kennel was sticking out a little. Her bag was approved prior to the flight and she has flown in it before. I talked to two other flight attendants about it and they were as upset as I was and also glad that I didn’t put her up there. After all the pet drama going on I can’t believe this happened. I wanted to post to make sure it is public and proper training is provided.
