You know, it's not often I get to talk to someone that loves battling the same way I do, and even less often I run into someone that can give me a truly great battle! I ran into Ingo (@subwaywardeningo) at the festival today and he was kind enough to give me a demonstration of the Hisuian battle style! I don't know if he was more excited or I was honestly, haha!! Best battle I've had in months, easy!

A little refresher on how Aitoria works
(there's been some confusion so i wanted to clear it all up)
It is an Sinnohan holiday (via the Ichowan culture, older than Celestica). It celebrates the main 5 types of love for the culture, and worships Enamorus. Hearthome hosts a festival for the event!!
Diya no Emmai - August 13: Today is about ROMANCE. It is about making out and going on dates and giving flowers to people you are attracted to. You are not giving flowers or gifts to your siblings or children.
Diya no Shinnai - August 14: This day is about community. It is giving flowers to people to dispose of excess and make others happy. It is about helping your neighbor. This is also the most typical day for any religious services.
Diya no Danai - August 15: This day is about your family. It's giving gifts to parents, children, siblings. It's making meals together to feed the rest of the family.
Diya no Peri - August 16: This day is about friendship and platonic love. You make new friends or hang out with old ones. Often spent partying and playing games.
Yaru no Aiyōbu - August 17: This day is about the self. it is spent fasting and working on oneself. In the evening, one treats themself to their favorite meal.

You have excellent timing! We were one day late for Diya no Shinnai, but we have come to a decision for our community, and that is that Mimikyu will now be allowed in Amity Park!
It took much debate and arguing amonst ourselves, but we feel like this decision is best for our park, and that Mimikyu is, indeed, cute.
We hope you all have a wonderful Aitoria this year!

This has not been a good way to start Aitoria. And to top it all off, I'm still completely single with no visible changes to that in my near future. That stings.
On the bright side, all of the baby Unown are healthy!
Apparently I was woefully unaware of the fact Sinnoh has an entire week dedicated to various kinds of love!
