I have started watching Barbelle, the new webseries on KindaTV, and I’m pretty much obsessed with it already. It is good, very good, so enthralling and so well-written and beautifully acted. And really, highly addictive! Canadian productions are so good, of such quality, it makes me so happy and proud.

Karen Knox (Veronica Vale) and Gwenlyn Cumyn (Alice O’Hara), who wrote and play the leads in this series following a trendy pop duo who try navigate recording their second album and a messy break-up, have created a gem here. And speaking of Gwenlyn Cumyn, she’s a terrific actor, and I’m crushing so hard on her, I’ve binged watched the whole first (and hopefully not last) season of All For One, another very god Canadian Webseries. Now I’m gonna have a hard time waiting until next Monday, when the next four episodes of Barbelle drop. An especially hard time since our friendly neighborhood Natasha is guest-starring in episode 9!
