“Little one. You shouldn’t be here,” Ben said, a bit alarmed when he saw the Togruta. “Not so little, I apologize. You’ve grown,” he said, proud as he looked at Ahsoka. He hadn’t seen her for so many years, but he could still recognize her in an instant. He didn’t think she had made it through the Purge, but of course she had. She was Ahsoka.

The chains held him fast, around his wrists, making him hang limply from the ceiling. “Darth Vader doesn’t treat kindly those he believes have betrayed him,” he said sadly, a heaviness over his heart.

She had left him behind once.

Ahsoka wasn’t going to do it again. She still remembered the felling in her chest as she walked down the temple stairs, towards the city, away from the family and the life she had once had.

For just a moment she smiled at him, little one, she supposed that despite how big she grew, how old she got, she would always be the little one wouldn’t she? Ahsoka found it funny in some way, how many people had commented how tiny she was for her species, too small to be a Jedi, too full of fire and passion and energy, but she supposed that was what had got her through all of this. Even if she had hit a late growth spurt.

“I came to get you,” she whispered, hands reaching out for the shackles, she reached for her waist and the hilt of her shoto blade. “I’m not leaving you behind again...” something caught in her throat, the lightsaber activated and easily managed to cut through the metal. “Plus. Vader doesn’t take kindly to anyone, you know, in for a cent in for a credit.”

Satine had, of course heard news of Master Jinn’s death, and it broke her heart to think of Obi-Wans reaction. Naturally, when she learned that there were rumours that a cloaked man was roaming Sundari she became curious. She asked around for where the man was staying and found it.

She knocked on the door, but there was no answer. She peeked around the windows and noticed a light on. She frowned and knocked again. Still no answer. She tried the door and found it suspiciously unlocked. 

She walked in and looked around. It was quiet, but Obi-Wan often enjoyed the quiet. “Obi-Wan, are you there?” When there was no reply she grew more concerned. There was no evidence that he was not there, a speeder was still parked just outside. She considered leaving and trying another time, until she saw Obi-Wan lying on the floor. She immediately ran to him. “Obi-Wan!”
