   Missions tended to be busy, and this was no exception as of the catastrophe. With that in mind, it was a miracle they hadnât ended up in a bed before. Being undercover meant that they had to act like an actual parent and child, which meant they had to act as if this wasnât the first time they did this. The Inn keepers already seemed to be suspicious of their behaviour as is, Shaak knew they had to keep prevent any slip ups from this point.
     With her cloak off, and headdress set aside, she placed one hand to Ahsokaâs shoulders as an invite to cuddle. They were from  a social species, this shouldnât be that hard for them, they werenât a new master and student duo. It was late, and they both needed rest, whether they were comfortable with sharing a bed yet or not.
Undercover wasnât her strong suit, she struggled with patience, with having to stay calm, she would rather go in all lightsabers blazingâŚall of this was frustrating. It should have been second nature by now, after all it was part of being a Jedi. She had lost count of the number of times that she had been told stories about Obi-Wan or Anakin or another Jedi Master saving countless lives with their skillsâŚand Ahsoka found herself lacking on that front.
Sharing a room wasnât rare, but honestlyâŚshe would rather have been alone. Her species were meant to be social, and yet here she was, finding herself not quite fitting the mould. The touch on her shoulder was a signal, she knew that, she could feel it. That was the think with Master Shaak Ti, she was warm and inviting, compassionate and calm, always steady and AhsokaâŚwell she wasnât. Maybe that was an effect of being taken from her family so young?
Uneasy she leaned into the hug, let out a heavy breath. War was difficult, even more so for a child to deal with because despite her instance otherwise, she was fourteenâŚshe was still a child. Cuddling always made her feel like it.
