rossi gives me the vibes of a wholesome uncle who lets his 18-20 year old nieces/nephews drink some nice wine or scotch at his parties when they’re not 21 yet and he’s like “i don’t care, you’re an adult now, cheers!” and i feel like this would happen when jack comes home from his first or second year of college

bonus: hotch or mom obviously catch on and for a sec theyre like “is that a good idea?” but then it’s hilarious when jack is holding the same drink all night bc the scotch dave gave him is kinda gross for a teenager but he kinda feels ✨cool✨ with the glass

oh i LOVE that concept and i think you’re 100% correct. jack absolutely carries around a lukewarm glass of scotch so he can look like a grownup but simply canNOT bring himself to drink it

I regret it already but does Aaron live to see all of his children finding their own families and paths in life? Who dies first between mom and Aaron? Aaron and Rossi? Do any of the other kids ever have a traumatizing experience like Jack? I guess I just wanna hurt tonight lol.

aaron lives to be eighty-nine, and passes in the summer of 2057, after a 18-year retirement. part of his retirement is spent as a consultant for the bureau - teaching courses, getting weird phone calls from the new bau unit chief about cases, etc.

mom outlives him by about ten years, but she’s okay. just like aaron, she’s sharp until the end. isaac moves back in with her and takes on a tenured professorship at his father’s alma mater. 

aaron knows jack’s two sons well into their teen years. he gets to walk his girls down the aisle, know their kids, and joint-lecture with isaac at the FBI academy. when he passes, he has five grandchildren. the only one he doesn’t get to meet is elliot’s second daughter.

dave lives to be eighty. he peacefully passes after a relatively short retirement - exactly how he wanted it, in the winter of 2036. 

the kids don’t have any serial killer experiences. isaac is too young to remember mr. scratch, and nothing else too wild happens after that. the littles have both of their parents well into their thirties, and jack is over fifty when he loses aaron, and sixty when he loses mom. 

so really what i’m saying is aaron’s fears about missing out on his kids’ lives because he became a father so late in life are for naught. he has plenty of life with his kids, and they have plenty of life with him.

i feel like domestic aaron definitely calls rossi atleast twice and is like “you know i never understood why you came back after the first retirement... now i do because i’m so bored all the time” and rossi definitely would just hit him with a “same sis”. just two house wives living their best retired lives

okay i know you said luke and nick become besties. but what about rossi and gibbs. in my personal hc, they’ve known eachother for years and are on speed dial whenever one of them is about to get a divorce.

rossi and gibbs are like those “conference friends” that adults collect - you know, the ones you always seem to run into at professional development events or parties or places where you need an ally in a room full of people, but wouldn’t necessarily seek out? 

they have too much in common not to get along, but neither one of them really “keep” friends outside their teams. i think their version of “catching up” is “have you been married since i last saw you? no? great.” and then they just exchange dubious, knowing looks while other people talk and make fools of themselves. 

though, they’ve definitely sent each other divorce lawyer recommendations when necessary.

omg! three mustereers day!!! Rossi opening the door and seeing a backpack with 2 car seats of babies with isaac right next to them and he’s like “my babies!!!! it’s pasta making day!!!!” & by the time they get picked up around dinner mom’s got a bottle of wine for him.

YES!!! papa pasta to the rescue!!

(he’s surprisingly good with the babies and doesn’t get overwhelmed when he’s outnumbered!)

Does Elliot ever ask about Dave when he's older like, he knows all his siblings but Jack have a teams name as their middle name. Does Elliot ever ask about him when he's older(and lord for bid Dave isn't alive) I was just wondering

he sure does!! mom and aaron (and all his aunts and uncles) have lots of stories about uncle dave, and elliot does get some time with him (dave is a tank, let's be real). 

all the kids know why they have the middle names they do, and those with living namesakes have very special relationships with them.

So during school events focused on grandparents, it's obvious that Rossi attends every one for the ajf hotchners? He's basically the BAU grandpa and the thought of him eating giant muffins with the twins, Isaac, and then Elliot (which is what my school did and I have so many cute pictures with my grandmother) is making me cry -🥥

at jack’s pre-college bonfire, Rossi & Penelope 100% give the twins too many s’mores right? I can also hear Sophia having Rossi roast her marshmallow because “He makes it perfect daddy, not you..... i still love you though” (we love when kids insult you but in a cute way)

100%. uncle rossi is the arbiter of all things smores, and Aaron has very sticky twins to deal with when he gets home.
