I made this for Father's Day in 2023. If Akaichi had lived, he'd been a loving and attentive father who would've wished only peace and joy for his pups. He might've stumbled on the more emotional parts of child rearing (he was never good at dealing with emotions) but he would've done his best.

They didn't get any time together in the comic but I really like them. If I ever finish GLP, I would like to make a short comic to show how these two met and got together.

The Unwilling King

It doesn't show in the comic itself because... Well, it's not about Akaichi. But he never actually wanted to be a leader or go to war or anything like that. But the pressure of everyone's expectations for him pushed him onto that path. He also never voiced these feelings to anyone, not even Yuki, because everyone looked up to him so much and he didn't want to be a disappointment. Even Yuki, his beloved wife, put him up on a pedestal he couldn't step down from.
