Dnd moment: I made another character (and his player) cry in our last session. We're both elves (mine is a time traveler), and his choice to become a druid didn't go over well with his dad. I decided to secretly carve him a Token of Adulthood, depicting him with druid iconography and his family crest, and told him it was to celebrate him for the adult he is, rather than the one his parents wanted. Tears were had.

So. Here's the thing. I love BnR so much that, despite the fact that I know it only updates on Thursdays, I still find myself checking it at random points throughout the week for no reason. XD I love these characters and this story so very much, and you're such. A fantastic. Writer. The story is SO ENGAGING. I understand why they do what they do, EVEN WHEN THEY'RE BAD DECISIONS. You're just so talented, and I'm so unbelievably glad I somehow came across your tumblr. T_T (Also you're GORGEOUS.)

Our bard has a crush on my sorceress (they've been friends for a while now), but he won't say anything because she actively hits on anything that moves. However, his feelings aren't one-sided: she's extremely possessive of him (not in a jealousy sense, since she does try to get him laid) but hasn't put 2+2 together yet because she's never actually been emotionally attached to someone before. Eventually she'll figure out why she gets upset at the thought of him not being around.

Ah yes, the inherent romance of someone who hits on everything to fall for someone for real. Fingers crossed that I will have such a romance in my campaign as well ;)

Can anyone watch this conference? And if so, where?

Unfortunately, this one is halfway to a workshop, so it’s limited to folks working in atmosphere/ocean/fisheries in our region (research scientists, students, professors, etc.). The institution running it does a lot of outreach, though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the big results get publicized in some form!

thankyou guys so much! :’D i definitely wanted his expression to come off as wistful in that panel. he’s thinking how lovely it’d be if he and AJ were married. but then he’s also thinking of every time he said “too fast” and “not friends” and “it’s over”, and every other little thing he’s said to AJ over the years. (heart wrenching is right hahah)

That parmesan halibut looks fantastic!! Could you share the recipe perchance?

Sure!  

2lbs halibut filets, skin off

1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded

3 tablespoons Mayo

2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard

2 Teaspoons white wine

teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning

Salt & Pepper to taste

Tools:

Baking Tray or dish

Oven w/broiler (would work in a toaster over)

cooking oil or spray

Steps:

Preheat broiler in oven

mix cheese, mayo mustard, wine and seasoning in small bowl

Grease baking dish

Rinse and dry halibut, season with salt and pepper

Put Halibut under broiler for 8 min or until easily flaked

Take Halibut out, spead cheese mixture on top

Put back under broiler for 2 min ir until mixture is melted and slightly browned on top.

Enjoy!

it’s not great!! they won’t test me unless i’m showing symptoms so >:T guess i’m just on tenterhooks for the next week or two

Your workplace... a healthcare facility...... doesn't want you to get tested. My dude u need to yeet urself to the nearest facility that will swab u also be good to urself and here have this /hugs

healthcare is for the people paying, not the people getting paid. sadly i’m not sure if anyone in the city besides the hospital that employs me is doing tests. it’s possible that i go to my PCP or whatever and they’re just like “oh go to [hospital] they have all the tests.” :\ Yikes

I really think you should get tested anyway. its better for you and for others if you do—why get others sick unnecessarily? I wish you the best, I know how stressful that can be. [sends positive vibes]

i would love to be tested. but i don’t think they’ll test me if i’m not showing symptoms bc i was outside their area of concern. :\ & i’m not sure anywhere else in the city is performing tests or just sending people to the hospital to be tested. idk. i’ll look on saturday i guess! make a fuckin day of it

according to Sources it’s bc they don’t think she would have been hyper contagious until friday, when the last time i saw her was wednesday. not sure what the difference two days makes but  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
