This is a baby I have been working on for a while, and I figured that there was no better date to launch it than Jared’s birthday! Please read below for more information
After Jared stood out and spoke about his Depression and shared his story, his journey, so openly and honest with us it has given a lot of those in the fanbase who is in the same situation the courage to speak up themselves.
It has created a bridge between people who otherwise have felt secluded and alone. With the help from Jared - and Jensen and Misha with their support for the AFK Campaign, and eventually their own You Are Not Alone Campaign - the Supernatural Family has found a platform to put words to their Depression.
Yes, that’s all very good. But what is the whole blog thing about?
The idea with this blog is for the Supernatural Family to share their stories about how Jared, Jensen & Misha have helped You. We wanna collect your stories in one place, and eventually have the blog showed to the Boys so we can use this to show them exactly how much they help us. You don’t have to be diagnosed with Depression to share your story. It doesn’t have to even involve a mental illness - what we want here is Your stories about how You have been in a rough situation and found comfort and guidance in the Boys. The goal with this blog is to give the Supernatural Family from all over the world a chance of thanking the Boys and letting them know just how big impact they have on Our Lives - even when the show isn’t rolling over the screen. And just as well as we want the Boys to know how big of a support they are to Us, and how much We appreciate Them, we also want this to be away for Us to let them know that We will always be in Their corner as well.
