I've always headcannoned that Akito had REALLY jacked teeth, even while he was little. His baby teeth didn't all come out till he was thirteen, he had extra teeth, and they were all positioned weird. So he's had braces since he was fourteen, and is still currently wearing them even now that he's seventeen, almost eighteen.
Ena, on the other hand, has always had perfect teeth and never needed braces. SO, Ena likes to eat the stuff that Akito can't eat to fuck with him.
Or an Akito x anyone hc where they're making out like teenagers do but then his significant other's tongue gets stuck in his braces. Which just ruins the mood.
I don't miss having braces, I just like projecting onto my favorite characters ✌️
