matthew my beloved…. he's one of my favorite marvel characters of all time, especially because of his internal struggles with religion vs. vigilantism.
and since I'm a complete sucker for angst and passion, your ask is the final push that inspired me to explore that theme through the following premise:
The problem is not that Matt worships you. It’s that every feeling he has for you is so consuming, so terrifyingly tender, that his guilt can only categorize it as something dangerous.
