The Eclipse novel's author with his edit dropped me an inspiration for this fanart of AkkAyan kissing under the Blood Moon – and here you go! I don't wanna say goodbye to this universe... :') Lemme stay on this cliff for a little longer. xP I also love how during the release of the series there were literally 2 real life eclipse and a whole bloody moon xD TALK ABOUT SYMBOLS.

there is a huge reason why i’m absolutely obsessed with this kiss scene. because the only thing that is stopping akk from acting on his feelings, is that they’re in school. if they were alone somewhere else he would have happily kissed ayan above water. when they go underwater, ayan waits for a split second. akk is the one who pushes forward almost aggressively to kiss ayan. he wanted that kiss just as bad if not more than ayan. it’s a huge leap for akk’s character and marks a turn in their relationship once again. akk has completely broken down. he wants nothing more than to be with ayan, but his brain is still trying to tell him it’s wrong. now the only demon akk has to fight with is the very tiny one still telling him that kissing another man is wrong. and thankfully that demon leaves in episode 10. ugh i’m just so obsessed with them and this series. first and khaotung are absolutely amazing in these roles.

Akk is a comfort character for touch-starved, perfectionist elder siblings who overthink, crave academic validation and have an unhealthy relationship with money. Bonus points if you secretly wish to be like Ayan.
