Long ago... when the world was bigger, and mankind smaller, a hunter named Akogun wanders the Savannah in search of revenge against the gods themselves. But the gods have their own schemes in play, wheels upon wheels of revenge and war...

This is very fun and I would recommend it, with some caveats. I thought this was going to be a 3-issue story about bloody revenge against the heavens, and there is some of that here, but it's also the first episode in what's planned to be a series. What I got was very fun, using African folklore to lay the foundation of the story and play with the powers in a way that feels modern.

There's bloody action, nudity (sexual and heroic), twists and magic galore, but I would recommend jumping into this if you have the commitment to wait while the story keeps coming out. I didn't find the first episode compelling enough to keep going, so I'll tap out here.
