Akumasona Week 1

Day 5: Civilian Identity @akumasonas For this entry I've written you a little introduction from Bonnie's point of view.

Hello, my name is Bonnie Liu. I live in Paris with my mom and my dad, who run a recording studio together. They're both really talented. I play a little piano, but I'm not as good as they are. Most days I go to school, but sometimes my dad lets me come with him to meet famous artists when they record at the studio. Mom scolds him every time, but I study hard to keep my grades up when I miss class. Mom used to be a singer and dancer, and my dad was a singer as well. When we all have the evening free we play music and write songs together. One of our songs was even featured on a famous singer's album! My mom's friend Henry is a popular singer back in China. He comes to visit us every couple of years and always records something in our studio. It's pretty cool.

When I'm not studying or at the studio, I run errands for my parents, and I mean run. I love running. I run every day, no matter the weather. I know all the backstreets, shortcuts, and all the quickest ways to get around Paris on foot. I'm the fastest of anyone in my class! I'm not very close with my classmates, but I do have a few friends outside of school. There's Marinette, whose parents run my favorite bakery. My dad loves their cookies, so I usually get him one on my way home from school. I see Marinette a lot there, and her parents seem nice. Sometimes I'll stay and chat with her mom, Sabine. It's nice to speak chinese outside of home. Another friend is a guy named Adrien. We run into each other a lot at piano recitals and competitions. He's pretty quiet, but he always picks the best music. Mom thinks he's cute, but he's not my type.

Even though I like seeing my friends and hanging out in the studio, and I love running, my absolute favorite thing is Pandas! I love and collect everything pandas. My whole room is pandas! I've got enough panda plushes to build a mountain, and almost everything I own besides my clothes has pandas on it. My favorite panda of all is one that Henry brought me though. He came to visit earlier this year and he gave me a little necklace that looked like a panda. When I put it on that night, a REAL panda popped out. Or at least a panda kwami. His name is Mellon, and when we work together he transforms me into the superhero Panda! But when we're not out saving Paris, Mellon likes to lounge around in my room. He doesn't have to worry about being spotted there, because nobody's going to notice one extra panda. He loves bread, especially sweet bread. Melon bread is his favorite, though I'm not sure if that's because he likes the taste or because he thinks it's named after him. If you ever see us out saving the city give us a wave! I hope more people will come to love pandas with our help. See you around!

Akumasona Week 1

Day 4: The past Because I am incurable kpop trash, my kpop headcanons are melding with my ml stuff and it's a mess. a beautiful beautiful mess.

Who was the previous Miraculous holder? Before Bonnie got the Panda miraculous, it belonged to a man named Henry, an old friend (and former boyfriend) of her mom's. After breaking up Henry and Josephine stayed good friends, and he would sometimes come to visit her and her family in Paris. Henry had used the Panda miraculous to fight of wildlife poachers and protect the forests back in China, when he wasn't filming a tv show that is. Once the government stepped up it's wildlife protection programs and his help wasn't needed anymore, he retired from hero work. On a trip to France he visited his old friends. Seeing how much Bonnie loved pandas and hearing about the akuma attacks that had been happening, he decided to give her the panda miraculous. Mellon wasn't sold on the idea at first, but he had to admit that Henry was right, he could be of more help here in Paris than he could back in China. Shortly after Henry went back home, Mellon revealed himself, and Bonnie became the superhero Panda.

Akumasona/Miracusona Week 1

I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO SET A REMINDER FOR THIS WEEK SO I’M SUPER BEHIND AND I’M GOING TO  POST THE FIRST THREE DAYS ALL IN A ROW, PLEASE BEAR WITH ME.

Day 1: Your Akumasona Name: Lapinet Luis desperately wanted a pet rabbit to remind him of the rabbits that he played with at his late grandmother’s house. After sneaking a class rabbit home from school he was severely scolded by his teacher and parents, then mocked by his classmates. Hawkmoth transformed him into Lapinet by posessing the rabbit’s foot charm he always wears around his wrist. 

In appearance, Lapinet is similar to King Kazma in the movie Summer Wars. A rabbit-like humanoid, he wears blue jeans, a champion’s belt, a black muscle tee and blue gloves, and has a shaggy tuft of dark fur between his ears like a Lionhead rabbit. His powerful rabbit legs allow him to run at incredible speeds and leap to the top of the Eiffel Tower in just two jumps! His special abilities are Screech, a powerful shockwave of sound that knocks anyone around him to the ground, and Earthquake, where he taps his foot so rapidly that the whole ground shakes! He is eventually defeated when Ladybug uses her lucky charm and recieves a rubber snake, causing Lapinet to jump into Chat’s arms in terror. His bracelet is sneakily broken, returning him to normal.

Alright so here is my miracusona, gazelle. Her powers are more for recon/patrol/civilian protection rather than fighting. I figure there's plenty of occasions where civilians are caught in the middle of the chaos and the main duo is busy fighting, so a super fast and strong hero could help carry pedestrians to safety, or deflect a few rogue akuma attacks. I'm so pumped so akumsona week! Also her kwami is name Sprii(as is sprint ;)). She is very timid but has a really easy time talking to her chosen (still don't have a name for her) She refuels by eating on orange slices, and loves transforming because becoming half a hero makes her feel so brave!

Part Two of @akumasonas Akumasona/Miracusona week! 

This time, it’s my Miracusona, named Draqua (Based on the Albanian translation for dragon and Aqua) and her Kwami, Dranni!

Draqua is based on a chinese oriental dragon, since the miraculouses seem to be centered around chinese influence? Dragons are representative of water, hence her blue coloration. Her special power is a very brief bit of hydrokineses, and shes only able to use a water source in that specific area. (Be it a fountain, or a puddle, or a stream.) Her weapon, on the other hand, is a grappling hook or harpoon, shaped like an anchor! C:

Dranni, despite her cool nature, adores spicy foods. Preferably peppers, much to her owners dismay.  Her miraculous is a small, dragon-shaped brooch with a bright, blue jewel in the dragon’s jaw that represents an eye. When they’re not in action, Dranni loves taking baths and just generally relaxing in a small bowl of cool, icy water.

AW MAN after seeing @akumasonas‘s Akuma/Miracusona week, I had to hop on board!! (Thankfully I already had this drawn before i saw the post!!!!)

This NIGHTMARE and she wishes to spread Darkness over all of Paris!

Her design and concept is very much homage to Nightmare Moon from MLP, as it shows my love for the night time. The cape shimermers and glows various hues of the night sky, even having a few constellations woven into the fabric. The claws, horns, ears, and capes shape resemble a dragon (the cape being the wings)

Her claws can be used in a similar nature to Cataclysm, though what she touches just loses power / light. For example, if she scratches a building, the lights will gradually begin to go out inside! She wants to climb atop the Eiffel Tower to reach the sky and turn it to night!

Her Akuma is in the Moon and Star clip on her cape. What caused it was the fact that she was really excited to go star-seeing with her friends, but they left her out on what time they wanted to do so, so she ended up missing the viewing of her favorite constellation (Draco.) She claimed that since she was left in the dark, everyone else can be too!
