Current WIP, my first big colourwork (after handwarmers) and I LOVE it. The pattern is Ghost Horses by Boyland Knitworks (Caitlin Hunter) and it's been super clear and easy to follow. So excited to wear it.
Hit the craft jackpot this morning! Fancied a small manageable task and discovered some socks I knitted pre-house move that never got their ends weaved in. Now I have two brand new pairs of merino wool (left overs from something else) socks!
Friends are having a baby, made a smol cardigan. Might embroider it a bit but can't decide!
Made some absolutely wild trousers out of some Ikea fabric left over from my mum making caravan curtains many years ago. I love them.
Finished hand knitted jumper completing the most 'millennial white autumn/off duty horse girl" look I've ever achieved. I like it but feels like a slippery slope to cringe instagram posts about Jesus, beige dressed children and breadmaking while wearing a cowboy hat with carefully coiffed beach waves...
Pattern by Caitlin Hunter, 'Ghost Horses', yarn : Drops Nord and I didn't need as much as the pattern suggested probably by about a third.
I'm doing it...I'm attempting to make a victorian corset for real and oh my God the instructions are long and complex...this could easily take a few weeks, few months or up to a decade. Fun challenge though! I will try my best to document it so I can relieve the joy (pain?) and make sure I learn from all the mistakes I'm going to make.
