The Rhythm Kings in King of Jazz (1930) featured Bing Crosby, Al Rinker and Harry Barris. Al had five acting credits 1930-37. Al was the brother of singer Mildred Bailey who also sang with Paul Whiteman.
Harry was born in New York City and had 65 acting credits from this, his first, to 1950. His other notable credits include Showboat (1936), Holiday Inn, San Diego I Love You, Anchor's Aweigh, The Lost Weekend, and The Blue Dahlia. He was often seen in Bing Crosby's films. Harry was the uncle of The Gong Show creator Chuck Barris.
