The Sadiqeen (Truthful Ones)

Who are the truthful ones (al-Sadiqeen) that are mentioned in the Quran? The Ahlulbayt, ‘alehum al-salam, give us the answer:

Shaykh al-Kulyani reports with his chain of transmission on the authority of Burayd b. Mu’awiyah al-’Ijli, he said: 

I asked Abu Ja’far al-Baqir, ‘alehi al-salam, about God’s words in the Quran, wherein it says, “Be God-Wary and be with the sadiq`een (the truthful ones)”.

The Imam said, “That is us”.

Arabic Text: عن بريد بن معاوية العجلي قال: سألت أبا جعفر عليه السلام عن قول الله عز وجل: " اتقوا الله وكونوا مع الصادقين " قال إيانا عنى.

Nothing (of knowledge) comes from from Allah, unless it begins with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him & his family), then the Commander of the Faithful `Ali (peace be upon him), then one after the other, so that the last of us may not be more knowledgable than the first of us.

There will be a grumbling and a moaning and a dark night, and then the Imam (al-Mahdi) will come out to you wearing the shirt of Adam, and on his hand will be the ring of Solomon (peace be upon him) and in the staff of Moses (peace be upon him)

Reciting the Quran from the Mushāf (book) is better than reading it by heart: Hadith

We read in the following narration (translated by your brother): Mosu'āt Ahādith Ahlulbayt (ع), Shaykh Hādi Al-Najāfi, V.9, P.106 3 [11009] Al-Kulyāni with his Isnād on the authority of Ishāq b. Amāar. I asked Abu 'Abdullah (عليه السلام), "May my Soul be Ransomed for you, I memorize the Quran by heart and recite it by heart. But, what is better to recite by heart or from the Mushāf (book)?" He (عليه السلام) said, "The Mushaf, look into it and recite the Quran for it is better. Did you not know that looking upon the Mushaf is an act of worship." Judge yourself daily - Program your life

Before your head touches your pillow, follow the will of Imam Al-Kadhim (ع), when he says in the following narration: Ali b. Ibrahim, from his father, from Hamād b. 'Isā, from Ibrahim b. Umār Al-Yamāni, from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Māthi (Musa b. Ja'far Al-Kadhim) [ع], he said: He who does not judge himself daily is not from us, for if he performs a good deed, Allah will increase it for him, and if he performs a wrongdoing (sin), he asks for repentance so that he may be forgiven. Usul Al-Kāfi, V.2, Pg.557, Print: Beurit, 2005 As Sayyid Sadiq al-Shirazi also stated: You are youth, program your self. Make a list noting down what you do daily, and every weak weight them. The 'Aql - What is it?

[Al-Kafi] Ahmad b. Idris, from Muhammad b. Abd al-Jabar, from some of his companions, he raised it upon the authority of Abu Abdillah (ع), he asked him: What is the 'Aql? He (ع) answered: The 'Aql is what the slave worships al-Rahman (Allah) with, and with it he holds on to Paradise. He than asked: What about that in which was with Mu'ewyia?
