has anyone else noticed that in a whole new world, aladdin literally never takes his eyes off jasmine and he’s constantly awestruck with her and i think about this all the time because it’s so adorable and well-thought

i just love how careless aladdin is without thinking. i mean, when he's prince ali and supposed to be a different person, jasmine still recognizes his hair. then he pulls that 'do you trust me' thing when he should know it's something she remembers vividly. and then there's strike three, when he does that apple move. i simply love how the movie built this up to the moment she says 'it's a shame abu had to miss this' because it makes sense that ahe figured it out and god her face when he tossed her the apple during the ride?? that's the face of a person who finally got her last confirmation
