Alain Chamfort🎶 Paradis
When I say that my ideas for fanfics are completely bizarre and you wouldn't understand, it's an AU based on a novel I watched ages ago.
So it goes something like this...
Patrick Juvet is a dictator obsessed with conga and disco music, he rules the country with an iron fist, lots of sequins!
The country is going bankrupt due to his extensive spending, so he needs to find a way to save his reputation. Years ago, he literally expelled Alain Chamfort from the country. Alain tried to reason with the dictator, and he didn't like it.
One day, very drunk, Patrick falls off the boat and is saved by Daniel Balavoine. The two begin a tumultuous relationship. Daniel was ambitious and crazy for fame. He hated being poor.
Daniel had a relationship with Michel Berger, a failed musician who has resigned himself to never being famous, an attitude that drives Daniel crazy with anger. This causes them to have many fights.
One day Patrick makes Daniel an offer: he would make him rich and famous, but there was a condition. He had to abandon his entire life and forget the existence of family, friends, and relationships. Daniel refuses for a second, but ambition speaks louder. So he leaves in the middle of the night, abandoning Michel.
Michel searches for Daniel everywhere, but in vain. A year passes, and Michel finally sees Daniel performing on a show. Mad with rage, he decides to go to the capital, and on the way, he meets France Gall, a fake nun (a nun by day and a madam by night), and Alain Chamfort, who has secretly returned to the country seeking revenge against Patrick.
The three will join forces!
(A small excerpt: Daniel sees Michel from afar and runs away. Michel chases after him. Daniel asks Dalida for help, who stuffs him into a tiny trunk. She calmly sits on top and lights a cigarette.)
"Where, where is he?" asks Michel.
"Who?" says Dalida.
"My husband, or rather, ex-husband." "He was here," says Michel, looking in every corner.
"Well, besides me, there's no one here, my boy. Desperation makes the brain see things that don't exist," says Dalida. Michel accepts the answer and leaves. She waits for him to go far away, then opens the trunk quickly.
Daniel is trembling and almost breathless as he gets out of the trunk.
"I saw the other side. But it wasn't heaven!" says Daniel, trembling, while trying to drink a glass of water.
(I can already picture Daniel wearing a gold dress and singing happy birthday to President Juvet in a sexy way.)
Some of my archives of Alain Chamfort and Françoise Hardy, starting with them in 1974!
I don't know who the photograph is, tho I suppose the magazine page is from Podium (it's the WOAW that makes me think of that)
I also have this :
In the magazine Podium, there were many games, and one of the games from it was to add texts to bubbles like this!
Now I wanna share one last archive of Alain and Françoise, an archive from 1965 that I found on the INA youtube channel!
It's very quick and only a fan of Alain (me) would recognise him but we have Françoise in front of us, and a 16yo Alain smoking in the background 🤯 also there's Jacques on the left corner of the screenshot
I could tell a lot about the duo Dutronc/Chamfort but basically Alain was a member of the band "Les Mods" and this band was the band playing with Jacques on some studio songs in 1966 and concerts and tv shows in 1966 and 67 🫡
1985- La opinión pública reina en la sociedad porque la estupidez reina entre los estúpidos.
