Li/Year 3/Week 1/Day 5
I got a notification when I finally got the McCall's all sorted out and back to the Li's. Alan Beckwith is dating Lynne's younger sister Patty! I had actually thought about trying to get those two together! He's also apparently getting pretty good at roller skating!
Hiram has gone to the Summer Festival on his day off from work. Looks like he's getting some skating in too!

It's Sunday, so it's the last official day of summer break. Off to the Old Towne Shops for some back to school shopping! It's a frosty morning!
Lynne went up to the gem cutting station with her inventory of gems.
I love to look out of the windows from inside random buildings..Somehow it gives a sense of reality to be able to see the city scape through a window. Unfortunately, you can't see much here because it's so gloomy outside and the windows are all frosted over. It's still pretty in its own way though :)
Torrey is busy shopping for camping supplies and books, while Alan seems to be picking out new furniture for his bedroom. Torrey!! Where are your shoes!!??
More of me looking out of windows..lol! This is from the restraunt on the Consignment lot..I was thinking about having them get food here, but no one is hungry yet.
It's around noon on a Sunday..Where is everyone in town going to be?? The dance clubs and pubs of course! LOL!
Oh no! The clerk at the consignment store is in need of medical assistance!
Dr. Torrey to the rescue, but she insulted him as soon as she was feeling better..Well that's gratitude for you!

First day of school pictures! Alan is fourteen in sim years and Olivia is twelve.
Torrey and Lynne are both off so they're getting some chores done. Torrey is raking leaves and Lynne is working on her handiness skill upgrading the kitchen sink.

Lynne is off to work early and Torrey is off today so he's busy getting some chores done. The kids are behind on homework already! No time to do it now, the bus is here!!

I got a pop up that good ol Pete Dexter is up to some dirty tricks again! This time scamming Sasha Kennedy out of money at a fund raiser!
The guests feel good about attending his party!? Ha! I bet Sasha doesn't!

It's the weekend so the kids don't have school yet. Of course it would be pouring down rain the day I decide to have the family grill out! I had to wait for the weekend so Torrey would be off of work!
Maybe I'll just have Torrey grill outside really quickly and they can eat inside...Umm..ok..Well at least Alan doesn't want his food to get sopping wet! To each his own, I guess!
I decided to buid a pergola so the family can at least be sheltered from the elements when eating outside.

Well after all of that excitement, Lynne decided to start her morning. She has to be to work by 7am anyway.

With Lynne off to work the kids are enjoying the last few days of summer break. Alan is busy working out while Olivia is just finishing up her cereal. Dad Torrey is doing all the fun stuff..paying bills and catching up on the news around town. He doesn't have to work tonight so that's nice!
Alan decided to head to the beach for the afternoon. He got to see a wild horse on the way! What a beautiful day for a swim in the river! The beach may be basically deserted today, but Alan doesn't mind the solitude.
Time to go home! Phew! After all of the working out and then sunning himself on the beach Alan is ready for a shower!

When I first loaded the household up after starting a fresh save, they were just getting ready for a family outing to the Redhouse Familly Center and Arcade!

I realized that even though the shower in the master bath was placed without moo it is not useable so it was time for a little switcheroo with the counter.. and some new plants and towels to dress up the cabinet.
This is my last day with the Beckwith's for the next 4 1/2 sim years!! Both Olivia and Taylor will have aged up by then and quite possibly Alan..Lynne has the day off so to mark the occasion I decided to have Lynne make waffles for the family's breakfast. I don't think she'll finish them in time :(
Well the bus is here so the kids are getting changed and then off to school.
Oh no! I forgot that Torrey got promoted and starts his new shift today! I guess nobody is going to eat waffles except Lynne!
Well the waffles are finally done..don't forget to put up the leftovers so everyone can have one later!
Lynne tried to go play with Taylor, but she was having NONE of it! Don't get bit!!
School's out and Alan brought home Lynn Decker to work on homework. Hmm..not sure if she's such a good influence, she does hang with a more rebellious crowd.
