Imagine Alana being a man (Alan Bloom), just like in the books. Will crushing on a man. Everything would have been different if Hannibal had known from the start that Will was into men.

"you died in my kitchen alana, when you chose to be brave"
"your wife.. your child.. they belong to me"
HE IS A STONE COLD EVIL BITCH!!!!!!
hm: taking will's fucking jacket off her while she lies with 1 million broken bones in the rain
thank you for listening.
I feel bad for the people who love the Wuthering Heights book & are dreading the upcoming movie & dealing with all of the "it's just a different interpretation" "it's an alternate universe" "who cares that the story & the characters you love are unrecognizable & basically erased, get over it" comments.
As a 100% canon Hannibal Lecter book series fan (for decades 😩), let me welcome you to Hell.
It never gets better. You never get over it.
reading Red Dragon while watching Hannibal is so interesting because like. the dynamic between Will and Hannibal is so different. The impact of having the posthumous publication conversation be between Will and Hannibal vs. the book having it between Bloom and Crawford, and how much it affects the way relationships are portrayed between the characters. I'm feral for it. I could write an entire paper on the book vs. television differences. It's making me insane and I love it

«..and the fbi are going to europe to find hannibal»
my last braincell:
I love Hannibal dearly but as someone who fixated really hard on the books first, I’m still sad they gender-bent Alan.
He was such a sweetheart for his limited time in the books and I totally would’ve loved a little wholesome gay romance between him and Will in the show
Madja Mikkelsen, Danish superstar, has signed to appear in a remake of Hannibal, starring as Dr Annabelle Lecter.
