(lyrics — the minecraft end poem)
Whoooo is sheeee... We have a new Sara Ryder babyyy
I was finally able to run the mods properly at 5 am 😆 and after an hour in the character creator I made this goddess 💜
I'm thinking of doing a biotic run of sorts but I totally completely forgor the systems in this game, we'll see hehe
the ryder family secrets storyline is fucked up on so many levels
every time a memory ends and we see Ryder's face two seconds later it feels like this meme:
because all of it is genuinely horrifying, with more and more memories that make you wonder how ryder is not entirely traumatized by the end of it. i think they are btw, just hiding it well because the game doesn't really allow them to lash out about the poor handling of ellen ryder. it's more "wish we could hug dad and then scream at him" and not "why are we going through this? seriously... how and why did he ever think it was okay?"
mea either deals with grief brilliantly, or it handles it very poorly, there's no in-between
and all of this happens as poor Ryder is in the middle of receiving a lot of key information about the Reapers, Shepard, the Milky Way, the Normandy crew with Liara's message, Jien, the Benefactor, SAM's "original purpose"...
..... i have a lot of sympathy for Ryder
let’s bond and change a planet with papa <3
Sometimes it makes me feel insane knowing that "the reason Alec made one of his kids a Pathfinder is not because he wanted them "to see the process through" but because his SAM cannot be safely integrated into anyone who doesn't carry his genes" is not common knowledge because I doubt many bothered to read Mass Effect Initiation
*puts Ryder in her dead dad's N7 armor to add to the crippling imposter syndrome*
Started my legally mandated yearly Mass Effect: Andromeda summer playthrough and I just noticed this meal in Alec Ryder's office of what appears to be...
...a cup of noodles and a can of beans. Jesus. I know things on the Nexus weren't great, but i didn't think they were so dire.
