Best Films of the 21st Century That Weren’t on BBC’s List

BBC recently developed their list of the top 100 films of the century. While I agreed with many of them, there were other films that I noticed were missing but were worthy of the list. Among those films were Drive (2011), Ex Machina (2015), and American Psycho (2000), some of the most beautiful, unique, and definitive films of my lifetime (I’m only 21, but this is still a big deal to me).

The Beach- Alex Garland

"The Beach is fresh, fast-paced, compulsive and clever...it has all the makings of a cult classic"-Nick Hornby. I say NO! I do not find this Novel as something, brilliantly and intelligantly and cleverly writen. Also I do not think, that this novel should get honor of CULT CLASSC. How can people compare this book to Emile Zola books or to Mr. Tolkien? Yes, of course it is fast read, every chapter makes you to read more and more... but this is how a thriler should look like, no? "Everyone looking for a literary adrenalin rush should make this a priority read"-Jemina Lewis in Punch    Shure it is adventurous but really, do we need to make love poems about it ?  anyway, I am not saying, that ist  Bullshit book, IT IS NICE EASY NOVEL, FOR NOT VERY DEMANDING READERs that is all.  OH and I almost forgot I didnt like the ending too ... But still 3.5/5 xx
