i am michael afton's #1 fan. i LOVED what they are doing with him. hear me out. its because michael afton in the movie, mike schmidt, and vanessa afton are the same character. theyre parts of a whole. michael afton in the games is the three of them TOGETHER he has the same baggage as the three and they are making it make sense by splitting him. the three of them are like fanon interpretations of game michael afton. it RULES. it rules. Everyone shut up

i just cant believe people are gassing up this design. why did they put these like oddly tight pants and shirt on her. to highlight her toned flat stomach and spherical chest??

it wasnt even this bad in 98. it could be possible to argue that 98 milly has similar proportions than now but the clothes are not vaccuum sealed and her shoulders and height are proportional with the rest of her body

and it's just baffling to me how studio orange has managed to do so much worse than the original its taking inspiration from, where millys shown to be extremely tall and big compared to others

and even female characters wearing skin tight clothes in 98 and trimax didnt look as insanely proportioned as what theyve done with milly now just cause in the big 25 theyre afraid to portray womens bodies and much worse make an actually tall and broad woman a main character? or what is going on here.

not only does milly's body type now resembles chronica's more than herself's, the shirt they put on her outlines her stomach more than chronica's space suit 😭 what are we doing to our beautiful queens

witch hat atelier chapters 88-92 spoilers

we thought qifrey was being selfish here, not knowing that at least twice (to olruggio, his beloved frien, and coco, his beloved apprentice) has basically asked them to just let him die in peace at last. but they wont let him go they keep desperately asking him to stick around and find a solution because they love him and dont want him to die.

and its not selfish of olruggio or coco either because they know that in the end qifrey doesnt want to die. nobody wants to die they just want to stop suffering. qifrey loves the life he's made, the atelier, his apprentices, and olruggio.

now we know what that his monologue in chapter 40 is not that he's unhappy or chasing the brims out of pure revenge. it's Actually about the fact that his life has been Too good. Hes been too close to achieving comfort, complacency even, just pure peace despite everything about the world. And thats bad. Thats bad because not only can he not have that for himself or he will die but also he knows that the caps are trying to do that to other people out there. so he has to let that consume a part of him, just fill him with rage and resentment and unfinished business to stay alive

NO WONDER he was really fucking rattled about custas. cause its just proof that hes right for still remaining haunted. they really are out there ruining the lives and futures of other children, just like they did with him
