Alexia is much more fragile than she looks. Not in physical terms or about her skills as a Hunter. But mentally. She always tries to be the strongest, or pretend to be to support others. It is as if she thinks for being weak, to be useful to those who are really strong. As absorb all their problems, or at least try it. She tries to be their catalyst.
Of course, this accumulates over time and in a moment it breaks. Sometimes it gets so strong that she ends up having to have a reset to stabilize again. No wonder she has the number 9 after the name.
The number next to her name is the number of times her brain was reset. The limit for an Exo is 20-30. More than that has never been recorded or the consequences have never been studied.

Rupture
Alexia was in the hangar making some last adjustments to her ship. Some last preparations before her leaving to go after Cayde's killer. Pinki her little ghost and android friend. Supported her unconditionally. Even knowing the dangers and prohibition of Zavala.
Liam approached his sister cautiously. “So are you really going after him?”
The exo female didn't answer back and neither did she look at him. Liam gave a tired sigh. He wasn't there to stop her, nor was he to follow either. '' You know you're alone in this, right? This time I can't follow you. ''
Her hand stopped as soon heard those words and looked at her twin brother. Blood red eyes. It was not the natural color chosen by her system. The beautiful blues sky. No, at that moment her mind was only thinking of revenge. And how she was deprived of the ability to cry and express emotions that was the only way his body could react.

He just sees her go. He didn't have the courage to stop his sister and didn't follow her as his heart wanted. In his hand he held tightly a photo that had friends competing to eat ramen faster. Cayde was in the middle and Alexia was at his side.

Alexia and Shiro share a close relationship. Since she met him at Iron Temple, she admired him for his cleverness as a vanguard scout. She had heard a lot about him by Cayde, but she had never met him personally. At first, she even got jealous, but after got to know him better, she just fell in love with him.
Liam also likes Shiro and sees him as a good friend. He always pisses off Alexia about their relationship. And through his eyes, they make a good couple and approve of a romantic relationship between them. She likes the fact that he is also an Exo, and they both share the pros and cons of having a robotic body. And whenever there is a calm moment between them. The two talks a lot about different subjects and event the past when they were still human.
Although she doesn't admit it, even to herself, she does have romantic feelings for Shiro. But she thinks that he wouldn't want something with her. Or because they are guardians, they don’t have time for relationships. Even not admitting her real feelings e even if he rejects her. She would continue to treat him with care and protect him at any cost.
Even after so long, they keep in touch and always share information between them. And when Alexia disappears for a while... it is very likely that she escaped for his side or for them to do some missions together.
