Things were... different. They felt different. Like they kept going back and forth. Hyunjin knew he was hesitant in the beginning of their relationship since this was all new to him. But things slowly became more comfortable. Jin felt more comfortable. But now, he wasn’t so sure. Maybe he had a lot on his mind without realizing it, or maybe Alex had a lot on his mind. Things felt distant between them. Hyunjin wasn’t sure what it was; he didn’t know what to pinpoint as the cause of it. He never really considered it could be his lack of communication or the fact that maybe he wasn’t truly ready for this relationship. Since he wasn’t one hundred percent sure what Alex was doing for the evening, he decided to text instead of call, giving his boyfriend the chance to reply whenever he could. Short and to the point, simply asking if he was home and if he could come over. Jin just figured they could at least get some dinner together or something. And once he was there, he let himself in since Alex had it unlocked. “Hey, sooo... you hungry?”
