Have there ever been times when Noe was watching Meau deal with a situation where she really could've used his help, but because it was more ridiculous than dangerous he just sat there laughing his ass off?

That’s at least 60% of their entire relationship, as there was a period of time Noe physically was not able to intervene in the slightest and could just sit and watch.

And therefore it was a lot of Meau trying something new and getting absolutely PUMMELED for it.

There was a single attempt to allow lugia to reproduce to make more of them and it only resulted in her getting chased down by a flock of very angry stormy sea birds when she tried to yoink one of their young for inspection. Noe still snickers when he thinks about it

Do beasts only "fall" when they're asleep? Nobody seemed too concerned around Wolf, but he still chained himself before sleeping.

No, they can fall at any time. Wolf was chained in that particular moment because he had direct access to outside for a prolonged period--otherwise he just stays inside locked doors. (He's fairly certain that even if he does Fall with the patio as the only way out, he'd break a bone or otherwise hurt himself trying to leave.)

Wolf still follows the procedures set for him, but has become a little lax with them in some senses. He might've chained himself more at the beginning, but now only does it on his patio when he plans to be there awhile.

Beasts typically Fall in their early teens or younger if they don't get enough Magic, so with Wolf being beyond that age and going strong, people generally aren't too worried that he'll Fall at this point.

Haven't done anything with Mama Mew in a hot minute, or in this case, Grandmew, so....

So a thought popped into my head after this last page that maybe Antaras isn't as in control as he thinks. And that maybe he was the one that killed Helevise under the influence of Loss. We assumed that Loss was trapped in the ring on his antler, but what if it's not a perfect seal, so that Loss can maybe influence thoughts or even take control when Antaras is sleeping. After all, Eve has full control of the doe’s body.

Which then made me ponder why Eve has control through the ring when Loss doesn’t. Maybe the doe isn’t blind. Maybe the eyes are like that because that body already died. Since the body no longer has a mind or personality in it, Eve gets to control it. That would also explain why the baby was in danger of dying.

Given how often we talk about Meau being upset/pissed off, I'm surprised you haven´t drawn her in the intimidate cat pose (side view arched back with straight up fully floofed tail).

I think it’d be funny, but when that girly’s mad she doesn’t need to make herself to look bigger to scare someone. She’s just goal orientated!
