Here Mat starts by saying how pleased Suede are with the reaction to Night Thoughts, that people stuck with it, even though there are no singles.

Then Simon asks about the older themes of the album, which are clearly different to the concerns one has in their 20s. Brett jokes that having to think about someone else rather than himself (now, his family) is quite novel to him!

Alex also talks about the film being made in Wales a bit.

I have a couple videos from the panel after the screening of Suede's 'Night Thoughts' film last Friday (20.5.16) at the Great Escape/Raindance festival in Brighton.

Here, Brett Anderson responds to Simon Price's question about the director Roger Sargent's role in writing and directing the film - Brett trusted him. Additionally, lead actor Alex Walton shares that he had recently experienced a bereavement before the film and was asked to respond to the brief but he and Roger just got on well and had a lot in common with recent experiences. At the time, Alex had no idea the film was for Suede.
