More of This Guy! Another oldish sketch and also a suggestion like the last one. What does Gholdengo keep in that chest? Apparently this one keeps seeds to feed the birds (and Gimmighoul is helping!).

"I’m Tulip, the Gym Leader here. Though I must tell you that being a makeup artist is my main line of work."
- Gym Leader Tulip from Pokèmon Scarlet/Violet
There are so many amazing characters in this game and I love them all, but I’m especially weak for purple ladies and I immediately fell in love with her.

Headcanon pokemon facts #2: Glimmora
Glimmora are highly skittish creatures that release toxins when startled.
They are nocturnal and dance in the air when the night sky is starry.
Glimmora are observant and will watch others with curiosity but still remain cautious.
They feed off of the shards tera crystals contain.
Glimmora eat by dissolving the shards in highly corrosive poison and use their petal like extensions to absorb itheir food.
Glimmora are very fussy about their petal like "tails" and become distraught if they become wet or dirty.
As a defense mechanism, Glimmora stick to walls with their pointed faces inserted into crevices to look more like flowers.
Glimmora are popular in Paldea due to their alien-like, but elegant appearance. Their appearance often inspires designs for vases or other ceramic objects.
Glimmora's signature move, Mortal Spin, is used when they cannot cling to walls if they are threatened. The poison is painful enough to deter most enemies and gives Glimmora plenty of time to escape.
When Glimmora are extremely attached to their trainers, they embrace them on the head with their petal like tails. They may also affectionately "peck" their trainers with their pointed faces as Glimmora lack mouths.
Geeta's Glimmora was her first pokemon and caught him as a Glimmet in the Alfonada Cavern.
Glimmora become more active during astronomical phenomenon such as meteor showers and consume any lingering space debris.
Glimmora generally are peaceful with other pokemon, but can become malicious if their petals are touched without their consent.
Female Glimmora are the ones who put on extravagant performances when mating. Multiple female Glimmora will perform a hypnotic and beautiful dance in front of the male by waving their petal like extensions in a peculiar manner. The female with the most entrancing dance will win the male over.
There is a theory purposed by pokemon scientists that Glimmora and Glimmet are closely related to the extinct Cradily and Lileep due to the homogeneity of the extensions but this is still being researched.
This week I’ve been crocheting panels from the designs on the tower at Alfornada in Pokémon Scarlett and violet, I love how cute these turned out and can’t wait until I have the rest done so I can sew them into the finished piece
Headcanons for Random Pokémon #3: Espathra:
Espathra are highly aggressive to others, including humans. They are territorial and will chase trespassers relentlessly.
One of the most dangerous Pokémon in Paldea. Their unpredictability makes them and their pre-evolution Flittle a poor choice for novice trainers.
Espathra can be needlessly cruel and take pleasure in mind-controlling others.
Female Espathra are much more aggressive and arrogant than males. The reasons are still unknown.
Male Espathra will dance and spar with other males using kicks to impress females.
If she isn't impressed, she will chase the males out of her territory.
If impressed, she begins to sway along with him.
In captivity, these Pokémon tend to be extremely narcissistic and tend to only care about their appearance.
If their trainer neglects to keep their feathery coats as glamorous as possible, they will not hesitate to kick.
Espathra can read people's emotions with ease and can manipulate them to get what it wants.
They were thought to be Pokémon only the royal could own back in ancient times. Espathra have not forgot about their status as a luxury Pokémon.
It is distantly related to Doduo and Dodrio due to both being mostly flightless.
Owners of Espathra tend to be seasoned trainers and of high status.
They can sleep with their eyes open.
The shedded feathers on Espathra tend to be used as material for high quality clothes and accessories.
Their feet are essentially immune to the arid heat of Asado desert due to protective scales.
Espathra are notoriously snobbish when it comes to food. Males who want to impress a female must also present her with the most perfect and tasty berries in Paldea.
They enjoy instigating conflict between people and wild pokemon by using their psychic powers to manipulate emotions.
It loves to create mirages for people stranded in the desert and find it very amusing when they realize that the watering hole or exit was an illusion.
Alfornada's symbol is an Espathra and considers them sacred.
First batch!
so far the first batch of eggs hasn’t been successful- (however they are absolutely adorable <3) but my destiny knot idea seems to be paying off, judging their stats! I’ve also been getting help from Kori, my majestic steed-and Fly Jr And his flame body ability.
There’s also been a lot of peanut butter sandwiches involved, and some weird Looks dashing around Alfornada’s battle grounds on a giant red lizard puppy. I’m gonna call this little chapter: The Great Paldean Egg-athon! Yeah, that’ll work-
Pokemon challenge run
I recently lost my Smoliv, Oliver, in my first and current Pokemon challenge playthrough. Oliver died to a one hit KO from the Shaking Earth Titan, which really caught me off-guard. My Tinkatink was able to come in and avenge it to finish the fight. Looking at Tulip’s Psychic gym ahead, things are pretty daunting. I’m only allowed to use the lowest stage of 3 tier evolution pokemon, and the tiny stats are finally catching up with me.
We have beat 6 gyms, 3 star bases, 3 titans, and lost 11 adorable little soldiers in the process. I’m not sure I have the skill to see this challenge through to the end of the game, but we’ll see.
Team I’m facing off against Tulip with will be: Sandile, Dreepy, Shinx, Pawniard, Tinkatink, and Gothita.
Sandile is so freaking cute that if anything happens to her I will create a whole new Great Crater of Paldea where Alfornada used to be C:
Also on a somewhat unrelated note, I keep finding shinies on my challenge run that I can neither use nor trade because that account doesn’t have Nintendo Online XD and my shiny luck has been seriously broken. A shiny a day without looking or sandwiches, just minding my own business, no shiny charm? I almost feel like it’s a scheme to get me to buy Live XD
I actually did it! After a bit of hopping around on Miraidon in a cave and catching two Toxtricity (one of each form), I made it to Alfornada!
