So I got some algae, popped it into a petri dish, and now its growing! I did it yesterday, but I think it might be cold, it's starting to turn a tad bit black, but I gave it some sugar cuz I read that algae takes sugar quite well, any other things I should know? I have a lamp on over it for most of the day, usually from 7-8 am to almost 12 am.

Oh yeah also name suggestions?

My latest experiment! Using three different fertilizers on the same base culture to further narrow down what supplies I’ll need for my main culture in the future

Also: I probably shouldn’t have my grow lamp in the window facing my cop neighbor, he’s been giving me weird looks like ever since my window glows purple at 3am
