Alice is Missing is a GMless instant message-based RPG played in a single sitting. Players take on the roles of the teenage friends and family of Alice, a girl who has mysteriously disappeared from her town. Over the course of play, which takes place entirely over text messaging or DMs without in-person dialogue, players will send messages to each other in-character as they learn and reveal new information about Alice, their own characters, and Alice's ultimate fate.

Hauntingly beautiful, deeply personal, and highly innovative, Alice is Missing puts a strong focus on the emotional engagement between players, immersing them in a tense, dramatic mystery that unfolds organically through the text messages they send to one another.

I have a headcanon that when Jason takes Reader Cat out, Jason bought a mini motorcycle helmet to put on Reader Cat, so I made a fanart based on that (a question, do you like tabletop RPGs?)

I play quite a few, but have this specific one called “Alice is Missing” and it’s genuinely so amazing, 100% recommend.

Though I definitely would say to only play it with the same group of people 2-3 times, then try and mix it up otherwise the stories will start to go full circle.

I played the rpg "Alice is Missing" with my friends recently and this was my character, Evan! He's a freak weirdo who pretends to be emo to make Alice like him more (it doesn't work)

Haven't stopped thinking about how when i was playing Alice Is Missing with some friends the other day and paused the music for one (1) second, my friend goes, "nooo but my immersion"

the best part of the alice is missing pre-game going over the rules is when you get to the "if your character is killed or hurt-" and your players start losing their minds

Last was fun, played Alice is missing with friends and I purposely made the worst possible guy ever and every time I added a detail my friend just goes “Holy shit that’s literally my ex”
