ALICE JÚNIOR (2019) dir. Gil Baroni Young and hip Alice is loved by her family, especially by her father, Jean, but when he is transferred by his perfume company to Araucárias do Sul, she leaves her crush and her friends in Recife behind. To make things even worse, she needs to study at the only school in town: the ancient and conservative Salesian College of the Sacred Heart of Our Lady of Redemption. This was weird at times but really sweet. It's a Trans coming of age story. It has a happy ending, which is always great. Absolutely love found family/chosen family stories!

I also wanna say there's maybe a polyam situation at the end..? I don't know there wasn't any elaboration but it was sweet.
