Life had gotten busy, and it was it was the mere fact that it hadn’t taken a toll on her friendships that Naomi was thankful for. It was later in the spring with her break slowly coming to an end, with the renovations of her childhood home taking up much of her free time. She was sure that Ali had experienced the same, with the newborn baby boy officially making his way home to the two awaiting parents. With some time that passed, allowing Alicia and Jaxon to adjust to having a newborn at home and getting in the swing of parenthood, Naomi couldn’t exactly wait much longer. She missed her best friend to pieces, and had way too many bags of gifts and clothing items to deliver before her room at Alex’s completely filled up. Arriving at the suite Ali had booked at Hotel du Pont, Naomi nudged her way through the threshold with quite a few bags rested on her arms and the crook of her elbow, her purse up on her shoulder. “Ali my love, come out from hiding!” She called out softly, attempting to keep her voice down for both her respected neighbors and the potential that she could interrupt peaceful time with Wyatt. Ali had been anticipating Naomi’s arrival, so her entrance was more joking than anything. The door shut behind her with a light thud and the brunette moved through the suit, nearing closer to the living room portion of the room to set the shopping bags down. “I know it looks like a lot, but I figured, you know, what the heck? There’s only one time this little guy is going to look so freaking adorable in this tiny onesies, so I kind of went all out. I mean, you should see what’s in this one.” She held up the purple shopping back that held numerous blue and green onesies, along with a custom made Locally Grown onesie. “I got my nephew one of these and my sister in law loved it, so I figured it’s only reasonable Wyatt gets one of these too.” Naomi smiled, her body twisting to Ali’s direction when her friend came into view. “How’s my girl doing?”
