Scientific Poaching w/ @elluq

It wasn’t very often that such massive scientific breakthroughs were made, and certainly not from the same company. But this one somehow managed to make several breakthroughs over the last few years and no one could figure out how. Everything regarding their successes was kept under wraps and everyone working there was sworn to secrecy. The only thing everyone knew for sure, was that these breakthroughs didn’t start until after a ‘meteor’ landed not far from the main research building.

The truth to their success wasn’t that far off though. It wasn’t a massive hunk of space rock that fell, but an alien ship. Every single one of the company’s successes came from the three beings on board the ship and the technology they had with them, including the ship itself. And somehow, they managed to keep the aliens alive, using them as lab rats for their experiments.

I think the meanest thing I thought of was when I was reading Space and Everything In It and I had a thought about whether some of the alien races you mentioned would be offended by being portrayed as villains before I realized that they’re... you know. Not real.

XD That’s actually hilarious. I’ve been planning some things for the Alien au, and after I finish Another One Bites the (Star)Dust, I have a segment planned that deals with the stigmas of alien races. Its gonna be fun to write because it deals with: 1. Remy, 2. Virgil’s not-at-all-covered-up trauma, and 3. Janus finding out what his parents did to Virgil back on Earth in the year he was missing :DDD

also can I just geek out about how even for a second that I made you think about a fantasy race I made up being real? Thats so awesome!! I’m kinda squealing because its neat!!

Foreign Visitors w/ @elluq

It was an unusually quiet night in the city. The sky was clear, and hardly anyone was out. Not long after the moon reached its zenith however, what looked like a meteor flew through the sky, landing in the city park. Further investigation would reveal not a giant space rock, but a ship.

Two beings crawled out of the wreckage, both badly injured. One was purple with a light blue underbelly. Teal colored horns, curved like a ram’s, adorned his head and his clawed digits and toes were colored black. He was easily seven feet tall, his four arms and the digitigrade configuration of his legs allowing him to easily scamper up a nearby tree despite his injuries to try and get a look at the surrounding area.

The other was of a similar body type as the first, though she had a tail as well. Her hide was a dark blue, her underbelly a blueish-green and instead of horns, she had three sets of thick feelers curling back. She seemed to have sustained the worst injuries, collapsing in an unconscious heap next to the ruins of their ship. The purple one jumped down from the tree and tried to drag his companion somewhere safe but didn’t make it far before his own injuries caught up with him and he collapsed as well.

These are my bois, Peom, Unla, Darla, and Lolli (Lolli’s like theirs mascot) they’re all my precious beans on a quest and they just need sleep and Poptarts ya know?
