I didn’t know how much I needed this until I heard it.
The original song is how depression felt at first, this version is how it feels now

It wasn’t very often that such massive scientific breakthroughs were made, and certainly not from the same company. But this one somehow managed to make several breakthroughs over the last few years and no one could figure out how. Everything regarding their successes was kept under wraps and everyone working there was sworn to secrecy. The only thing everyone knew for sure, was that these breakthroughs didn’t start until after a ‘meteor’ landed not far from the main research building.
The truth to their success wasn’t that far off though. It wasn’t a massive hunk of space rock that fell, but an alien ship. Every single one of the company’s successes came from the three beings on board the ship and the technology they had with them, including the ship itself. And somehow, they managed to keep the aliens alive, using them as lab rats for their experiments.
"yes?" he chuckles, petting him getly
He just purred softly, leaning into the pets
He heads vacj yo their room, motioning him to follow
He followed, tongue darting out to clean the blood from his face

He devoured it pretty fast before chirping for more
He had already thawed more
He moved to eat that too
He watches quietly
He tore a chunk from one, sharp teeth easily shredding the meat
"Try not to mess up the floor"
He nodded
He grabs a side can from the fridge
He finished the meat and let out a small belch
"Full?" He chucjles
He nodded, moving to lightly butt his head against his thigh with a chirp

Jack would place a watermelon in front of his mother and held up a finger to her so she would watch. He would then take a deep breath before headbutting the watermelon to break it open. He then would offer her a piece as bits of watermelon ran down his face.
Sera chuckled softly and applauded when the watermelon cracked open, taking the offered piece with one hand as she gently reached for a nearby rag with the other to gently clean his face off. “Very good sweetie! You’re getting so strong!”
He would smile as he would lean against her more, cuddling up closer to Sera. “Ok. I promise not to use head for breaking the melons anymore. My legs too small to crush it so I will need to find a different way.”
She kissed the top of his head as she wrapped an arm around him to hug him close. “I’m sure once you get older, you’ll be able to break them with your legs if you want. It’s an odd display but an effective one for some reason.”

He would squirm as he was cleaned off though continued to eat the watermelon. “I saw people use legs to break it but thought that was silly. Head is strong than legs so head should be used for crush, not legs.”
“I think humans use it as a sort of mating display sometimes,” the dragoness snorted, nibbling at her own melon chunk as she finished cleaning his face. “Although I think there is some logic to it too. The brain is a very delicate thing and if you use your head to crush too many watermelons, you could really hurt yourself. There’s not much to hurt in the thighs.”
His face would scrunch at the mention of mating display as he leaned against Sera for a little before he would eye her suspiciously. “Mommy....you would not....use thighs to squish melon right?....Also I will not use head to break melon anymore if it will worry Momma.”
She chuckled softly and gently ruffled the boy’s hair. “No, dragons have different sorts of displays. And it does worry me a bit… I don’t want you hurting yourself.”

Void seemed fascinated by the microwave
Delta watches in amusement
He seemed to be watching the meat turning inside
It beeps after abjit
He jumped back in surprise
Dear laughs a but, walking over
He looked over at him with a pout
"Cute" he opens the microwave
He reached for the meat
He sets it down
He snatched it up and tore into it, the heat not seeming to bother him or even slow him down
