Cyclozz

[Contamination has one of the common issues of Italian exploitation movies; a good beginning, a good ending and a lot of screwing around in between. The last act features the Alien Cyclops depicted here, which was supposed to be a much more animated character, but the prop didn’t work correctly. The name I gave it is in honor of Luigi Cozzi, the director of Contamination and many other Italian ripoffs besides.]
Cyclozz CR 10 LE Aberration This grotesque being resembles an octopus with an oversized human-like head and a single eye. It has eight tentacles, two of which end in toothy maws and six of which splay beneath it like sprawling legs. It has two slime-oozing orifices, roughly where a nose and mouth would be on a humanoid face. Its eye pulses with an eerie yellow light.
A cyclozz is a rare psychic tyrant, a creature that uses its combination of mental powers and grotesque poisons to subjugate regions. Despite their hideous forms, they are beings of stupendous intellect. Their primary claim to fame is the poisonous pod they create—these structures look something like an oversized avocado, and are sometimes mistaken for the monster’s eggs. Rather than containing a baby cyclozz, however, they contain an acidic poison that causes living things to literally explode in a fountain of gore. Their lower “mouth” is in fact an ovipositor for these pods, and their upper “mouth” coats them in a preservative slime if they are destined to be used as time bombs. A cyclozz actually speaks and eats through two toothy maws, one in each of its largest tentacles.
Cyclozzes view other members of their own species as competition. They are rarely alone, however, as they collect armies of minions. The key members of these legions are typically under magical control. Rank and file members of their organizations are kept in line with bribes, threats or other mundane means. A cyclozz uses these minions to distribute its pods, convey its demands to the appropriate authority, and to serve as lines of defense between it and any would-be heroes.
A cyclozz in combat is typically one whose schemes have gone awry, but they are capable fighters nonetheless. They can fire their poison pods like missiles, have a wide variety of mental attacks, or can simply grab a foe and crush them in their thick tendrils. They have a taste for meat, especially that of intelligent beings, and have their minions bring them choice morsels. Although a cyclozz is typically stationary, they are capable of moving at a reasonable pace, dragging themselves along on their tentacles.
