My Humans Are Weird series is a scifi rom com! It has all the best parts of aliens that do not understand humans while also falling in love! You can see it in scenes like...

"What is this?" He pointed at the spot on Wren's arm.

"Uh," Wren tried to twist her extremity. "Where?" She was stretching it out, twisting around, finally able to look at the spot on the back side. "Oh, bruise." She poked it. "Ouch. That hurt." She proceeded to press it again. And again.

"Wren?" She touched the spot again and wrinkled her nose. "Why do you continue to press the spot that hurts?"

She looked at him. "You know, I don't really have an explanation. I guess it doesn't hurt that much, so it's enticing to keep pressing it to see if it hurts more each time. I'm not sure."

Zork'ak was certain that Wren was one of the most unique humans he had ever met. "How did you get that bruise?"

"Couldn't tell you." She pressed the spot again, and when she winced, Zork'ak nearly reached out and pulled her hand away. He did not want her in pain. 

Instead, Zork'ak looked back at Adam. "I thought you noticed when you ruptured your blood vessels, and that one looks more painful."

"Hers is a dark color because it's healing, not because it's more painful. Bruises are nearly all the same pain level. Some hurt when you press them-" He cut his eyes at Wren. "But having them doesn't hurt really."

Zork'ak gestured to Wren. "She does not know how she received hers."

He looked at her arm, then his. "Like I said, it depends."

"But-" Zork'ak was looking at their bruises. "How do you- You don't notice- I do not understand." Klyls always noticed any abnormality in their body's functioning. There was not a time that Zork'ak had not noticed something causing him pain.

"It's complicated, I guess. Our species doesn't have set rules."

"I have noticed." He looked at Wren. "It makes your species quite hard to study."

She laughed. "Good. You can't know all of our secrets." She winked at him then.

And suddenly, Zork'ak found it hard to breathe. He definitely needed to go to the medical wing.

Knycuz: Was talking to the Zuessrq what you were hoping for?

Jess: It was. Thank you for talking to them for us. I know you didn’t particularly want to, but I appreciate it." 

Knycuz *leaning closer*: If you need anything, just tell me."

Jess *smiling up at the massive alien warrior*: Am I getting special treatment?

Knycuz: Something like that.

Knycuz leaned back on his elbows, two hands still gripping her thighs, and stared at where she hovered with a look so enraptured she rolled her hips just to watch the reaction. His stomach flexed, and his hands tightened on her. 

"Yes," he groaned, his hips jerked to force himself a little deeper. Jessica bit down on her lip as he stretched her, more focused on the look on his face than anything else. "Show me." 

She shifted her hands back behind her, rolling her hips as she slid down a little farther. He groaned, his head dropping back only to snap back up and watch her again. "Show you what?" She circled her hips, her body sliding down his shaft more. "You want to see me take you?" The way he was watching her had her mind focused on nothing but his pleasure. "You want to watch as I finally sink all the way down your thick cock?" 

"Yes." He tightened his hold on her hips and helped her roll them faster, his grip bruising. But she didn't care. "Show me." 

The words were so desperate, so feral, that Jessica couldn't think of anything else as she started to ride him in earnest. She was so wet that she was easily taking him now, and when she sank down the last inch, they groaned together. 

One of his hands slid down her body to press right above where they were joined, and she felt him deeper. His eyes were transfixed on the spot where he must feel himself in her, and Jessica grinned. This was the first time she had ever seen Knycuz completely out of control, and she loved it. 

Leaning forward, she planted her hands on his chest and began to ride him, rolling her hips up his shaft and back down. Knycuz's hands were all over her as she did, grabbing her ass, palming her breast, gripping her thighs as he thrust up to meet her. 

"Fuck," she choked out as he started to slam up into her. "You are big. It feels so fucking good."

"So fucking good," he echoed, and that turned her on even more. 

Jessica choked out a laugh. "Looks like I'm a bad influence on you. Teaching you words you shouldn't say." 

"Giving me a taste of something that will distract me from getting work done ever again," he grunted, driving into her deeper.

"Knycuz, wait," Zork'ak whispered.  "Where. Is. She."  Leslie took him in, assessing him, and to Makhan's surprise, she turned to the people guarding the door. "Bring Jessica Wright in here. She is waiting with the group in Lunchroom A."  They nodded, one pulling open the door just as Zork'ak shouted, "And Wren."  "Wren." Leslie stared at him, and he nodded.  "Yes. Wren."  She turned back toward the partially opened door. "Bring Jessica Wright and Wren Healy."  As the door shut again, Leslie's gaze moved over Zork'ak, who was trying to stay calm, to Knycuz, who was visibly barely restraining himself. And then she turned, those dark green eyes focusing on Makhan.  "No requests from you?"  He shook his head, giving her a similar perusal. Something tugged in his chest as he took her in, even though he knew this was the last person he should be attracted to. "There's no one out there waiting for me."  While the words could have portrayed the loneliness that he had been shoving down, they came out more suggestive. He saw the edge of her lips quirk, and it had him leaning closer to her.  "Shame." Another quick flick down his body. "Because you're trouble?"  A smile curled his lips and he leaned forward, wishing that there was nothing separating them. "Not quite." He knew better than to incriminate himself. He could not give this woman any reason to keep him locked up.  The door opened behind her before she could respond, and Makhan stepped back as he watched Wren rush in. Her small frame was trembling as she went right to Zork'ak, her palms pressing to the door separating them. "Zor. I didn't know where you had gone. I was worried. Are you okay?"  Zork'ak leaned forward, pressing his hands just opposite of hers. "I'm fine. We have only talked. Nothing more." His voice softened. "Breathe for me, Wren. I am unharmed."  She nodded frantically, but even Makhan could see how rapidly she was sucking in breaths as she whipped around to look at Leslie. "Why is he locked up? Open the door."  Leslie motioned to the guards. "Open it."  Stepping forward, one pressed a keycard to a flat scanner on the wall and the lock disengaged. As soon as the door slid open, Wren flung herself into Zork'ak's arms.  He caught her, pulling her against his chest as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head. He spoke to her so softly that Makhan couldn't even hear it, but she was nodding. He was clearly calming her down.  "Open this." Knycuz's growled demand distracted Makhan from watching Zork'ak and Wren. "Now."  He lifted a hand toward the door, clearly threatening he'd break it, but Jessica called out to him as she moved in front of his cell. "Wait." She threw a look over her shoulder at Leslie, who only gestured for the guard to open Knycuz's door as well.  Knycuz took one step forward before Jessica was jumping into his arms. Two gripped her legs that had wrapped around his waist and the other two pressed her closer to him, one on her lower back and one cupping her head. "I will not be letting you out of my sight again," he told her, his voice rough and still angry.  "I know." Her arms tightened around his neck. "I didn't like it either. We're going to get you out of here."  Knycuz just squeezed her tighter, and Makhan found himself almost smiling. He'd done everything he could to get Jess back to Knycuz, and seeing them together had made it worth it. Even if Makhan had nearly lost his life as a result.  His eyes moved to Leslie, who was watching both of the couples with a pinch in her brow. "Interesting," she murmured, like she was just now understanding the motive behind the Klyl's presence.  And then there was Makhan. Still locked in his cell. Still alone.

"You know you could sit down."  Knycuz stood behind Jessica, arms crossed, frowning as he stared at everyone else.  "I can see better from this angle."  "Knycuz, that sounds fucking creepy."  "We are outside." His eyes flicked down to Jessica before moving back up. "I need to keep you safe."  She huffed, flopping back on her chair. "This is supposed to be relaxing. No one is going to hurt me at a pool."  "I will relax when you are indoors and not in a potentially vulnerable state." Knuycuz's eyes narrowed at the small swimsuit she was wearing. "With clothes on," he growled.
