Being a writer and an artist is awesome. I'm struggling with writing a moment I have conceptualised and then I remember I can just draw it.

I feel like the people who read and write and make art around monster romances seem to create with this utterly awe-inspiring joy and it genuinely makes me so happy.
I could talk for hours about the nuances of romances and spice with monsters (including the cultural and societal themes that shape it) or just shoot the shit with people who want to talk about their favorite horns. Either way the community inspires me and thrills me all at once and I love it deeply.
Sometimes, you just want to read "trashy" books and or "trashy" fanfiction.
And I am in the mood. So share with me your crack fics ouat fandom. Bring it on.
I'm going to post this writing idea i had publicly, because if someone likes it, I can trick myself into thinking I need to produce it for their sake and thus actually get it done.
'Something has been killed in a hotel where that shouldn't be possible. The body was left on the concierge's desk to be found as they arrived the following morning. The body was killed with a metal bar that remains sticking through its chest, nothing was too out of the ordinary except for the identity of the victim. An elder god, born before our star was even a twinkle in the eye of the universe, brought down by a shaft of iron more mundane than the Hawaiian shirt the corpse was found in. The resort for the eldritch and unknown’s doors shut for the first time since humans walked the earth to uncover the killer of that which cannot die.'

it’s finally going to be my baby’s time to shine - what the lawsuit story can be about
I’m excited to finally see how the story with the lawsuit is going to be handled. I don’t know how depositions for malpractice suits work, and who is going to get involved in with this story besides Mel and Ellies, but we know that this case is about the mussels kid who eventually died, and that is not Mel and Ellies fault. as a writer I have a guess how this might be played out. it’s important to remember that even though, this mom from last season was insufferable and unreasonable. this lawsuit comes from her not being able to coup with her own grief and her guilt, so she is grasping at straws trying to find someone else to blame, because knowing her son’s death could have been avoided is too hard to bear.
because Mel is one of the most sensitive and empathetic doctors on the Show, and a caretaker of her sister herself, this storyline have the potential to be really heartbreaking and powerful. I really hope that this is the direction this will go, and not - “A lesson about proper protocols, and not playing odds”, because Mel is really not the right person to get that kind of storyline, she is mostly very disciplined doctor in this regard. I think a story involving a malpractice lawsuit caused by a doctor not following protocols should be saved for characters who have less discipline like Santos or Robbie, or in an overcorrection route with Al-hashimi, in a later story down the road.
