what does "reg" mean in terms of being an exclusionist?

"reg" is short for "Reactionary Exclusionist / Gatekeeper" iirc, and its basically a catch-all term for ppl who exclude sexualities or genders (like asexuals or bi lesbians) from the lgbt community on grounds of "i dont like them / understand them"

question, can we go a little unorthodox with how we interpret prompts? eg i assume the prompt "pumpkin" would usually be something with carving pumpkins, since its during halloween month, but could i interpret that to be "pumpkin" being used as a nickname?

Absolutely 😊 we always say: "Whatever it inspires in you is totally fine!" So yes, please, go wild and use these prompts however you like - especially if it's in such a cute way 😉
