Hello, everyone! My name’s Janet, and I run the blog janetstudies. I’m not really new to the blogosphere - I’ve been on Tumblr for about five years now, through various blogs I’ve since left inactive (sadly). This is my first studyblr, however, and I’ve high hopes that I’ll be able to keep it up for the next few years (until I finish college, which won’t be until five years from now).
I’m sixteen and I live in the Philippines. Hobbies include reading, creative writing (though I don’t think I’m as good as others in this field), and webdesign. My favorite TV shows include Scandal, Westworld, and Skam.
I’m in 11th grade or, in the US, a junior. I love Biology, Maths (Calculus, especially), and Philosophy. AP/Honors classes don’t exist in the Philippines as our education system is quite different from the States’, but I’ve had a few unique classes such as Philosophy and Personal Development (psychology).
I decided on making a studyblr in hopes of fostering my dedication to school up, given the fact that I’ve a lot of distractions around me right now and badly need to stay focused and maintain my grades. I also wanted to contribute to the community, since I’ve gotten a lot of help by going through various studyblrs’ resources/posts throughout the past months.
