I just wanna take a moment to give a virtual hug to this fictional character named Cole Lockhart...

Here’s a man who has experienced so much trauma as a child alone (what Joshua Jackson character didn’t experience so much trauma as a child). But to be serious for a moment this man has been through so much and my heart breaks for him. I mean his father not just committed suicide.... he hung himself ON Cole’s 10th birthday!! I mean who does that? I get that his father was clearly going through a lot of pain and I feel for him but of all the days he chose his son’s 10th birthday to take his own life thus saddling his small child with so many feelings of abandonment and unworthiness. Now as an adult i’m sure Cole realized that his father’s death went so much deeper and didn’t have to do with him but as a child that is a hard concept to grasp. Also Cole’s son died and then the mother of his child and the love of his life died. This man has been through so much loss in his life!! 😥😭
