Black Skeleton

Did you know skeletons can be black? It's caused by a condition called alkaptonuria, where homogentisic acid accumulates in bones and cartilage, turning them black.

This is my first acrylic painting! I usually work with oils when i paint, but I love how this turned out and I enjoyed painting it, so I will definitely be using acrylics more often:)

Exam season is coming up for me next month, so I will post a little less for some time:( but after that I can throw myself into art fully, and I can't wait! Hope you stay with me. I already have a lot of things I want to create in mind. It's been really hard to balance art with studying since I just want to draw all the time. I'm really excited to finish off these last two exams!
