Generally around 10 seconds, some might go beyond but thats usually just silence.

hi! we’re super late to the whole discourse and you don’t need to answer or to read any further if you want to leave this behind! we completely understand that and wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable at all. we just noticed how your takes on this was so based and covered basically everything we thought and we wanted to let you know .

see we’re asian and goodness if that designs the most orientalist and racist thing someones ever seen we’re honestly baffled. does it have those details and certain traits? yeah ofc we’re not dismissing that it exists but people are getting way too comfortable throwing around ‘most’ all willy nilly. we also can’t help but notice how much scrutiny is put into each and every word the cc says and wow. much of what he said could've been worded better and we understand that but it gets straight up frustrating when some of what we see are just petty nitpicks. we don’t speak for all asians and we don’t know what the middle western people feel about all this but having our comment and a few others’ remarks just nuked and called bad faith seemed like we get absolutely no say unless its nods and acknowledgement. right so do we get no discussion and no way to express that some of us just don’t take it as seriously as people are making it out to be? we also thought it was strange that the first thing people thought of when seeing the design was how it took from asian/middle western cultures instead of it being a wind themed design. just that thought in itself is something to consider. we don’t know honestly and we know it’s just us screaming into the abyss right now but we’ve been so drained out by this whole ordeal.

"Marie, please - you're far too much!" It's only partially a joke - as the queen's willingness to give such uh - physical means of affection does far exceed her own. That wasn't to say she didn't enjoy it- she'd just never have been so forward herself. She puts one gentle hand on the rider's shoulder, while her head leans briefly against hers.

"You haven't changed a bit" She chuckles, before taking a step away from her again. "It's good to see a familiar face with all this chaos. I can hardly believe what we've gotten ourselves into again."

Not that there was any rest to be had for heroic spirits, by definition.

"Would you like a cup of tea? We're lucky enough this place has some European-style teas I can actually recognize."

A hand invites her old friend into the hotel room she'd temporarily taken residence in with her master ( two different of beds, of course - she'd have probably died of embarrassment otherwise!). Kazuya is, unfortunately, elsewhere at the moment. She'd introduce Marie to him later.

"Now....where do I even start? It's not been very long for me either, and I'm really at a loss in this modern world. Kazuya - my own master - has been infinitely patient with me in that regard. It makes me all the more grateful to be a place to help others rather than be in the hands of a greedy mage. We've been quite fortunate, haven't we?"
