All is Dark
All is dark in my heart as I focus on you, all the things you’ve ignored, all my love unrequited. I whisper sweet nothings to no one, my brain has restored, all my love undecided.
All is dark in my heart. All is still. I don’t remember the things you will. I won’t remember how you burned with hot fire, how the coals were mashed into flat black ash, the coat on your back, your dark brown mustache, slinking out the back door into the night. You’ll never outrun my bitterest spite.
All is dark in my heart as I focus on us, all the piss in the dark, all my hearts undivided, I whisper encouraging words to myself, the slide of my hand job, all my words unguided.
