I know how you feel. I read up to volume 13 when they were being translated and then read the web novel translation/summaries of the rest of the arc. So i'm really enjoying reading the physical books at this point.

There’s just something to be said for holding books in my hands. There’s a joy that comes from that that I can never find elsewhere. I’m impatient but I will read it again just to have that joy.

It was a busy month for smut! Which means I read slightly more than I had the previous months:

Enter the Multi-Vers by C Rochelle (sexy superheroes and fated mates)

Colin by Grae Bryan (final in a vampire mates series!)

Impromptu Match by Lily Mayne (first in a series, an absolute fucking riot, I laughed so much)

No idea if anybody wants to hop on the StoryGraph train with me (haljonesy is my username) but! I’m doing the “read the world” challenge for 2024 and it’s really cool! It can be so easy to just settle into a genre or area of literature, and recognizing that maybe you’ve done that is good! Pushing yourself to read outside your sphere can be such a fun experience. I finished my first leg of the challenge and read a book by a Ghanaian author, set in Ghana. It was delightful.
