𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | On the weekend I went down to @applebuttercafe for lunch and came out VERY impressed. If the interiors don’t win you over (but they totally will, with the massive apple tree in the middle of the restaurant) then their insta-worthy dishes will do it for you. Pictured is the eggs florentine; a croissant with spinach, beetroot hollondaise, Classic hollondaise, and poached eggs, with added salmon. I loved this, and I thought the sweet touch of the croissant balanced well with all the savoury aspects. We also had the truffle scrambled egg, on brioche with creamed mushrooms. I seem to be in love with mushrooms lately so this dish turned up nicely just in time for my cravings. We also had a couple of desserts; one being The Apple, which I’ll post about separately as it’s such an insta-moment, and the second being The Jar, which is a chocolate sponge, chocolate ganache, biscoff cookies, white chocolate chips, vanilla ice cream. It’s INCREDIBLE. It’s everything that you want from dessert. It’s chocolatey, it’s got texture from the biscuit, it’s got ice cream. Honestly I could have eaten another straight away. I was very impressed with the food here, and the drinks too. I would definitely visit again to try some more dishes. . . . . . . #applebutter #alldaybreakfast #brunchlondon #londonfoodblogger #brunch #lunchlondon #croissant #eggsflorentine #poachedeggs #londonfoodie #foodbloglondon #londonrestaurants #londonrestaurant #foodpicoftheday #londonbrunch (at Apple Butter) https://www.instagram.com/p/B94m3U3nc2q/?igshid=9xi111moswa8
