Marshclan

I’ve decided I’ll put out the allegiances by clan, so I’m going to start with the clan I introduced cats from first, Marshclan!

Marshclan are the cats of the bog. Their camp is on a small island surrounded by bog, inside of a hollow tree. They are known for being secretive and closed off from the rest of the clans. The other clans say that the shade of the thick trees chill their hearts and keep them out of date on all subjects.

In reality Marshclan cats are a very protective tight knit group. The bog is a very dangerous place, where you can’t tell the ground from the water. Not only that but the bog harbors some of the biggest and largest number of predators on the island. This keeps them wary and protective, even though they seem closed off.

100 moons. Bearstar is a blue and white short haired munchkin cat with a hitch when he walks. He is stoic and level headed.

Mossfoot

Mossfoot is a huge long haired brown tabby tom with a white chest and green eyes. He is a worrier, and quiet, but a good warrior all around, very respected among his clan.

Roseshimmer the reader of dew

Roseshimmer is the youngest Observer of the Peace in a long time. Her left front leg is underdeveloped, as she has phocomelia. She is a longhaired red tabby with a black mask patch. She is independent and bubbly.

Applehawk is a longhaired tan tabby covered in scars. He was formerly a warrior, and is not very skilled. He is angry all the time, and is always ready to give a good tongue lashing.

Snapperhook

Grey Tom with medium white spotting (has a spot that looks like a mustache). Has a strange accent. Good at solving riddles, Tells terrible jokes. Has a chipped tooth. He’s kind of crude, but everyone loves him.

Jasperheart

Huge longhaired ginger tom with black facial stripes. He is lazy and disappears from clan territory every once in a while. He is the brother of Clearwater and Chrystalgaze.

Miremouth

Former Rouge Half Brother to RookCall and Barleypaw. Miremouth is a black velvet covered petbald cat.He is tall and skinny, with a long and narrow face. His eyes are narrow. Miremouth is a lazy, shirkish tom cat, with a knack for story telling. He is known to be greedy and mysterious. Maladaptive daydreamer, his rasping meow can stop a warrior dead in their tracks to listen to his captivating stories. Silver tongue, and wit enough to use it.

Former Rouge. Deaf. Good at climbing trees. Black she-cat with a white underbelly, face, legs. Collects feathers and can imitate bird calls. Friendly, funny and showoffy Sister to Barleypaw

High Road

You know how sometimes you are trying to take the high road? And then there's something that's just put out there that seems like it's there for YOU to POUNCE ON? And you have to fight the urge to jump and act and instead think of the long term ramifications of what is poised on your tongue? And how, in the long run, it will just make things worse for everyone involved? And how it's not my job to defend someone else anyways? Well, that's what's happening to me right now. I am fighting to tamp my anger down, fighting down sarcastic words (which is hard for me), trying to forgive the person. I am realizing that while they think they are right right now, that in the long run, they will wake up sad on the other side of the world, in their own little world even, and realize that despite what they would like to portray in their social image, they are unhappy with themselves. And they have made it that way. And realize that most people realized this before they even did. Or maybe they won't and just everyone will speculate. But I'll know. I am reminding myself that I am a mom and I need to keep being a better version of myself. I am reminding myself that this person is someone's child. And this person is likely the result of how his/her parents treated people, and he/she learned from them and that's why he/she is how he/she is. And it's all just very, very sad. And that is why I am taking the high road. And that is why I am biting my tongue. Because it will all come out in the wash in the end. The cream rises to the top and all that. Hoping all the things that MY mom told ME are true. Having faith in that. So that's what I am about right now. Also, I really wish there was an appropriate gender neutral pronoun in the English language.
