I am so pumped to see more of these two in season 3 after what happened and I said earlier I was gonna draw some allgar, didn’t I? So here we go. Right on time for @voltron-rare-pair-week.

What to title my Voltron highschool AU fic?

*Spoilers for the fic*

There will be Keith and Lance who have been best friends since 2nd grade. Keith who’s been in love with Lance since they met.

There will be Haggar who has a crush on Allura. Allura who knows Haggar but barely knows her, doesn’t get the chance to hang out with her much one-on-one.

There will be Zarkon, who’s nice. He’ll love his kitty with all his heart, her name will be Peaches. He will let Shiro and only Shiro play with her. Everyone except Shiro and Zarkon finds this odd.

There will be Sendak, pining for Pidge. He’ll join the robotics club just to hang out with her. Pidge who’ll just be grateful to have a new friend.

There will be Matt, who gets dragged around by Zarkon and Allura to zoo protests. Matt, who gets worried, torn between Zarkon and Shiro. Zarkon and Shiro who are both pining for both Matt and each other.

It will be a mess. And this mess needs a name.

AU where Haggar is that old auntie kids are scared of and call her a witch living in a tiny two story shack by the side of a really long and nearly abandoned high road and Allura is forced to stop by after her car died down and some delinquents stole it so now she’s really pissed off.

Allura just opens the shack door abruptly like "please tell me there's a phone here" and normally she's a lot more composed and polite than this but she just had her car broke down, all of her belongings got stolen and she had to walk some 10 kilometers to the nearest place, which was that shack and she is not the mood to be friendly right now. Haggar is sitting on an old chair finishing fixing up a radio (she's also a very good mechanic) and stops, looks up and raises an eyebrow like she just don't give a single fuck in the world.

Haggar just shrugs and points to the balcony like "sure" and Allura practically stomps her way to it. She manages to contact Lance and he says he can't go to where she is atm because he's in the middle of a seminary and there's another the day after (he and Shiro are still preparing things for that one) but he and Shiro will be there in two days.

After hanging up, Allura very calmly turns back to look at Haggar and forces the most forced smile she possibly can because she needs a place to stay for two nights therefore she needs to win this person's trust. And Haggar is just watching the whole scene unfold with the most "no fucks given" look but tbh she's also amused.

Chaos happens during those two days, including the jackasses who stole her car showing up to steal the shop. It happens while allura is just finishing her shower and Haggar is in the back preparing dinner. Suddenly there’s a commotion in the front store. Haggar spies from behind the wall and Allura quickly dresses herself up and joins Haggar to watch four boys laughing and with beer bottles and breaking shit and laughing at all the witch stuff and Allura's ready to kick some ass, pay them back for stealing her car and also maybe help Haggar on the side.

Which is exactly what happens and she also finds out Haggar is pretty darn good at handling herself and they manage to make them run with their tails between their legs. Just for good measure, Haggar yells from the door that she’ll curse them and then she and Allura kind of laugh together when the boys start screaming in the distance. Sadly they didn’t have her car so she couldn’t get it back.

Haggar and Allura don’t get along well during the first day, but after they kicked those boys’ asses, they sort of get along better and Allura secretly hoped Lance would take longer to arrive because Haggar ain’t so bad afterall.
