the idea of allosexual people being privileged is incoherent even outside of Gays Get Punished For Wanting To Fuck etc; the only working definition for allosexual is "does not identify as an asexual spectrum identify" ("experiences sexual attraction" would classify demisexual and grey asexual people as allosexual, "experiences a normal amount of sexual attraction" would obviously not work is there not a normal amount of attraction, every single person experiences attraction differently and most people don't give a fuck how frequently they or other people experience attraction, etc etc) so basically you're talking about a group of people who do not identify with certain labels: this is not a group of people with any similiar experiences and this is not a group of people who's range of experiences are gonna all be different from non-allo's range of experiences. ie, someone who doesn't identify as demisexual could have the exact same experiences as someone who does, someone who doesn't identify as asexual could have the exact same experiences as someone who does, etc. so like... where is that theoretical privilege? what is it that's privileged? is it literally just not using the labels that causes the privilege? i know that most people and even most inclusionists don't believe in "allosexual privilege" but the fact that ANYONE believes in it is mindblowing to me when it makes zero practical sense

Aphobia Does Not Exist

Hi friends, I'm asexual and I would like you all to know that aphobia DOES NOT EXIST!!!! There is no such thing as an 'allosexual' so there is no 'allosexual privilege'. Any oppression me and my fellow asexuals face is a result of, guess what, HOMOPHOBIC OPPRESSION. To the people outside the community who oppress us, we are seen as 'basically gay' because we're in the LGBTQIA+ community. And to those who think we're oppressed by people within the community, that is absurd, that's just you getting called out for your homophobic drivel. You can't go around saying "The AIDS Crisis wouldn't have been so bad if the gays had just listened to us and not had sex." and not expect any consequences. The reason people are trying to keep you out of the community is because YOU AND YOUR VIEWS ARE HARMFUL. Can people who believe gay people are privileged for being “allosexual” or “monosexual” try experiencing the real world for once? As in, something outside an extremely liberal part of a north US state? Because, where I live, people won’t stop hating you because you feel sexual attraction or are attracted to only one gender.
