📖 : Did your character go to Pokémon School? If so, was it public or private? Were they homeschooled?

i answered the first here, and the second here, so let’s roll on into that third, AYYY.

the short answer? no.the long answer?

atticus obtained a general, regular education by regular world standards.due to his period of homelessness, he finished elementary school late and had considerable catching up to do in high school, and then later obtained a degree in engineering in college.

but, pokemon-specific education? it was certainly something he desired as a kiddo, but due to aforementioned homelessness and other circumstances that had hit him like a freight train growing up, it was nothing more than a pipe dream, and he settled for pursuing a ‘standard’ job that was nowhere closed to pursuing that pokemon master dream.

any pokemon-knowledge he has is self-taught that he went out of his way to research, especially for his occupation working in the pokemon industry. for battling, it was all trial and error and common sense, and he secretly prides himself on being a superb trainer without the necessity of being handheld through childhood.he’ll happily kick any pokemon school graduate’s ass around the block with his homegrown battle style.
